I was invited to the Natural History Museum to collaborate with Hana Ayoob on a lecture about the science and art of henna on Eid in 2023.

We discussed the historical significance of henna, as well as the multifaceted cultural uses of henna. We also discussed the science behind it’s staining properties and some common designs we might see. We also facilitated a session!
