Collaborative Creative Practice & Facilitation
I design and facilitate creative projects that bring people together through making and shared creativity. I collaborate with communities, schools, charities, cultural organisations and public services to create friendly, warm and lively spaces where people can explore ideas, tell stories and connect through art. Whether I'm leading a one-off workshop or a long-term participatory project, my approach is collaborative and caring. Every project is shaped by the people involved.
My Approach
I have extensive experience working alongside people with a wide range of lived experiences, including refugees and asylum seekers, looked-after children and young people, people experiencing mental ill health, people living with dementia, participants in alternative education settings, individuals with experience of the criminal justice system, and people who speak little or no English.
Working across these settings has made me a highly adaptable facilitator and strong communicator. I build trust quickly, communicate across different needs and abilities, and tailor activities to suit the people in the room rather than expecting participants to fit a predetermined format. My aim is to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, respected and able to contribute in their own way.
